Kari Samantha was an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). She began her professional career as a teenager and is best recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and as the Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a car salesman. There are three siblings. She began singing in clubs as a teenager, and was known to sneak away from her house to sing. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School at 13 years old she studied drama in the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. Born on April 28, 1967 on the 28th of April in Brookfield Connecticut. She was born in Connecticut's Brookfield on the 28th of April, 1967. Kari is one of the three youngest children. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer, she would sing and then slipped away to perform. Kari aged 13 years old studied at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor who was known for her work as Uta. Kari began performing when she was in her teens, her first break on television coming in the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
