Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. The actress was born Patsy McClenny on the 3rd of February of 1950. The actress gained fame in the late 70s and early 1980s due to her continual appearances on various TV shows that featured her as a glamourous actress. Fairchild started her career on her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She performed the role of Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress had done so. In the year 1980, she played the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded an Golden Globe Award nomination for the Outstanding Actress in a Television Series Drama. In 1984, she was a co-star in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls as well as a role on Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 to the year 1986. Fairchild is also an actor in theatre and appeared as a guest in television shows, including Murphy Brown (for which she received nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill and Friends. She is a board member of SAG-AFTRA.
