Kelly Clarkson is an American performer and songwriter. She was the nation's sweetheart after winning the American Idol title during the initial season of the reality show. The win not only catapulted her to the top of the charts but also earned an album deal together with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. Since then her win, she's released several records from studio works. From these three of them made it to the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just a two centimeters off. Her name is one of the top artists to have emerged from American Idol. When she was successful, she experimented with different musical styles and themes often creating songs with her feelings. They acclaimed her critically and won many prestigious prizes for her distinct voice and talent. She's been honored with the Grammy Award 3 times. In addition, she has appeared on television and films. She is also the writer of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charities.
