Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a star who strayed completely from country music to pop culture, turning into the pop icon of the future that will last forever and conquering all of the world. Swift shed the country influences as if they were an additional layer of skin. She revealed that she was one of the finest singers/songwriters from the generation she was born into. Swift could make the event personal and use it to her advantage. The skills she displayed were apparent in some of her first tracks, including the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on the second album Fearless that came out in 2008, she discovered her true identity and gain an audience that was large. Fearless had a great success not only on American soil, with six platinum-certified singles. In fact, the Top Ten songs Love Story & the hit song You Belong with Me were the most important reasons. But, it also did exceptionally well throughout the world. Speak Now delivered almost two years later and consolidated this popularity and pushed Swift into the stratosphere of superstardom. The next three years, her popularity was growing through the years -- Red (2012), Reputation (2014) as well as 1989 (2014-2015) -- as she moved into a realm of pop with her skills already established. Even though she had slowed the production of her folklore album, and Evermore albums in the year 2020, she was at the forefront of pop music.
