Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English roots. Her mother has Spanish as well as English ancestry. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan with six kids. Four are her siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family is originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after switching from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. After 16 she quit the school to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actress from a very young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
